The basic element of issues regarding teen sexuality is the fact that lack of information can lead to some overwhelming sense of confusion, creating invalid (sometimes even violent) opinions and the endgame could be a series of horribly made decisions.
What every teen must realize is that being secure in your own skin, being comfortable in one’s own sexuality is a great step towards a fuller and healthier (not necessarily gluttonous) sexual appetite.

Being comfortable in one’s own sexuality is by no means propaganda for homophobic megalomaniacs; it means, quite simply, knowing exactly what you want, how you want it, and when you want it. And as an aside for those who believe homosexuality to be against natural law: if it were, then gay love would not exist but undoubtedly and evidently, it does.
In another attempt to evade the devils of misinterpretation, knowing and exploring your desires does NOT mean imposing it on another person who does not desire the same thing—that can simply turn out to be rape. Teenagers should learn is that having sexual desires, however different they may be (with the limits of legality and safety in mind), is absolutely normal in biological and psychological contexts, however demonized by some institutions.

Teen sexuality is quite a difficult topic to traverse, with issues raising from sexual orientation to masturbation to pregnancy to the biology of sex to deciding whether or not to have sex just to mention a few, it demands in the end knowing and taking full responsibility of the possible consequences of any and all sexual acts.
